2026: An Incredible, Terrible, Horrible, and (I Hope) Wonderful Year

Dear  Joanie, Rafe, and Luca,      Today, as I begin once more the letters to you, my grand- and great-grandchildren, we are three months ...

These are Your Kinfolk, Joanie: A Brief Introduction

I'm Doing Some Name Dropping in your letters, so I thought this page might help you sort out who is who and how they're kin to one another and to you. You'll find a more extensive family tree, with your name on it, on Ancestry.com, but you'll need to get my login for that.

You have a lot more relatives than the ones on this list, obviously, So what I"m trying to cover for you here is the Turner lineage.

Fannie Belle and James Edward Turner: Your great-great-great grandparents. They are the parents of:

Amy Kellam, your great-great grand mother. She is the mother of:

Kay Cook, your great-grandmother, known to you as GG Katie. She is the mother of:

Catherine Cook,  your grandmother. She is the mother of:

Brett, your mother. We call her Brettable. I'm not sure why. She is the mother of:

Joan Francis Pfaffenbah.  That would be you.

Julie French,  your great aunt. She is the mother of:

Eric Newmiller, your mother's first cousin.

Andrew Newmiller, your mother's first cousin.

André Kaiser, your great uncle. He is the father of:

Luca Kai Kaiser, your mother's first cousin.

Patricia Alexander, who died only a month before your birth.

Karol Gammill

(To be continued...it's getting to be dinner time.)
